Wigan has never taken a point off of the top 4 EPL teams (Man United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool) until today. Wigan is a team that is always at the bottom of the table fighting just to stay up. Basically, a team of roughly $100 million payroll ties a team with a $10 million payroll is what this is.

Yes, record was 0-20-0 with a goal dif of 10-50 (vs Liverpool the dif was 0-11). But Wigan is in the EPL only since 2005/2006 season - they never were in the top league before, so I guess that record was not such a big deal after all. And I wouldn't say that they are "always at the bottom"; if I recall correctly, they had a great season in their first EPL year.
